Lean Whey Gourmet is the blended version of MuscleSport's Lean Whey. Lean Whey Iso Hydro uses whey isolate and hydrolyzed whey; Gourmet keeps both and adds whey concentrate and milk protein isolate for a thicker, creamier shake and a mix of fast- and slow-digesting protein. Each 37 g scoop gives you 24 g of protein at 135 to 140 calories, plus 3 g of Fibersol-2 soluble corn fiber and MCTs. It doesn't carry the L-carnitine and CLA in Iso Hydro's Fat Metabolizing Matrix; MuscleSport built this one around texture and flavor.

Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream, Lemon Raspberry Wedding Cake and Unicorn Cookie Shake contain wheat from their cookie pieces, and Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream also contains peanuts. Unicorn Cookie Shake's cotton candy pieces are colored with Blue 1, Red 3 and Red 40 lake and also list titanium dioxide.
How to use it
- Mix 1 scoop with 8 to 10 oz of cold water or milk in a shaker cup and shake until smooth. MuscleSport says you can go up to 16 oz.
- For the thickest shake and to break up the flavor pieces, blend it with ice.
- Have it after training, between meals or whenever you need protein to hit your daily target.
Not for children or anyone under 18, and not for use if you're pregnant or nursing. Check with a health care practitioner first if you take any medication or supplement or have a medical condition, and stop if you have a reaction. It isn't a low-calorie food, and MuscleSport says not to use it for weight reduction on very low-calorie diets without medical supervision. Stop 2 weeks before surgery. Every flavor contains milk and soy, and some contain wheat or peanuts, so read the allergen line on your flavor. MuscleSport makes it on equipment that also processes fish, eggs, peanuts, crustaceans, sesame, wheat and tree nuts. The product carries a California Prop 65 warning.

How is Lean Whey Gourmet different from Lean Whey Iso Hydro?
Iso Hydro uses whey isolate and hydrolyzed whey and adds the Fat Metabolizing Matrix (Fibersol-2, MCTs, L-carnitine and CLA), for 25 g of protein at 120 to 135 calories. Gourmet adds whey concentrate and milk protein isolate for a creamier texture and slower digestion, with 24 g of protein at 135 to 140 calories. It keeps the fiber and MCTs but not the carnitine or CLA.

Which flavors are gluten free?
