This is Transparent Labs' 100% whey protein isolate from grass-fed cows. Most flavors give you 28 g of protein (29 g in Cocoa, 30 g in Peanut Butter) at 130 to 160 calories, with 0 to 3 g of carbs and 1 g of sugar. It's sweetened with stevia, with no artificial sweeteners, dyes or flavors, and Unflavored is just whey isolate and sunflower lecithin.

The tubs carry Informed Choice and Informed Protein badges, and 13 of the flavors we carry are listed in the NSF Certified for Sport program. Each 2 lb tub has 30 servings, and we stock 21 flavors, from Milk Chocolate and French Vanilla to Cinnamon French Toast, Salted Chocolate Caramel and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Other ingredients: Grass-fed whey protein isolate, natural flavors, salt, stevia extract, sunflower lecithin, plus flavor ingredients such as cocoa or peanut flour. Unflavored is whey protein isolate and sunflower lecithin only. Vanilla Bean also lists organic cane sugar.

Every flavor contains milk; Chocolate Peanut Butter, Vanilla Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter also contain peanuts. Chocolate Pistachio has no pistachio in it. Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie, Mint Chocolate Chip, Salted Chocolate Caramel, Vanilla Peppermint and Vanilla Bean have 1 g of added sugar; the rest have 0 g. Gluten free, per the tub.

How to use it

  1. Add 1 level scoop to 6 to 8 oz of cold water, milk or your favorite drink and shake until smooth.
  2. Transparent Labs suggests having it within 30 to 60 minutes after training. It also mixes into pancakes, yogurt and oatmeal.

Contains milk, and the peanut butter flavors contain peanuts. Transparent Labs makes it on equipment that also handles eggs, soy, wheat, shellfish, fish, tree nuts and peanuts, and says people with severe lactose intolerance shouldn't use whey.
