This is the bigger tub of Transparent Labs' 100% whey protein isolate from grass-fed cows, with the same Nutrition Facts as the 2 lb size flavor for flavor. Every flavor we carry gives you 28 g of protein at 130 to 140 calories, with 1 to 3 g of carbs and 1 g of sugar. It's sweetened with stevia, with no artificial sweeteners, dyes or flavors.

Each 4 lb tub holds 55 servings, compared with 30 in the 2 lb tub. The tubs carry Informed Choice and Informed Protein badges, and all four flavors we stock are listed in the NSF Certified for Sport program: Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Other ingredients: Grass-fed whey protein isolate, natural flavors, salt or Himalayan rock salt, stevia extract and sunflower lecithin, plus cocoa powder in the chocolate flavors and peanut flour in Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Every flavor contains milk; Chocolate Peanut Butter also contains peanuts. Chocolate Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie have 1 g of added sugar; Milk Chocolate and French Vanilla have 0 g. Gluten free, per the tub.

How to use it

  1. Add 1 level scoop to 6 to 8 oz of cold water, milk or your favorite drink and shake until smooth.
  2. Transparent Labs suggests having it within 30 to 60 minutes after training. It also mixes into pancakes, yogurt and oatmeal.

Contains milk, and Chocolate Peanut Butter contains peanuts. Transparent Labs makes it on equipment that also handles eggs, soy, wheat, shellfish, fish, tree nuts and peanuts, and says people with severe lactose intolerance shouldn't use whey.
