Nutricost Fadogia Agrestis
Fadogia agrestis 10:1 stem extract for men's health routines, with 600 mg in one vegan capsule a day
This is Nutricost's fadogia agrestis: 600 mg of a 10:1 extract of the plant's stem in one vegan capsule, taken once a day. The bottle holds 240 capsules, about eight months' worth, and the only other ingredients are the plant-based capsule, magnesium stearate and silica.
Fadogia agrestis is a shrub from traditional African herbal medicine (Avula et al., 2019). Nutricost files it with its men's health products and keeps the label simple: one extract, no blends. Research on fadogia is early. The studies so far are in rats, and we couldn't find a published human trial, so talk with your healthcare provider before you add it to your routine.

Common questions
Has fadogia agrestis been studied in people?
Not in any published clinical trial we could find. The research so far is in rats: a 2005 study reported higher testosterone after a few days, and a 2008 study from the same lab found changes in testicular function markers after 28 days, which the authors read as possible harm. Rat results don't tell us what happens in people.
How much is in each capsule?
600 mg of a 10:1 stem extract, and the label serving is 1 capsule a day. The bottle has 240 capsules.
Does it have anything else in it?
No other active ingredients. The capsule is hypromellose, a plant cellulose, with magnesium stearate and silica to help it fill.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsule is plant-based and the label carries an animal-free vegan seal. It's also marked non-GMO and gluten-free.
