Opti-Greens 50 is 1st Phorm's greens superfood drink mix, built to support digestion, gut health and immune health in one daily glass. Each 2-scoop serving combines organic barley grass, wheatgrass, spirulina, kale, spinach and other greens with a fruit and vegetable phytonutrient blend, a plant enzyme blend and a nine-strain probiotic blend with 5 billion CFU. 1st Phorm says it packs 50 ingredients.
A serving is 30 to 35 calories with 5 g of carbs, 0 g of added sugar and 2 g of protein, sweetened with stevia, and the bag says no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives. Other ingredients: Green superfood complex (organic barley grass, spirulina, wheatgrass, alfalfa, oat grass, kale, spinach and parsley, plus broccoli), a blend of chicory root fiber or rice bran with stevia, grape seed extract, alpha lipoic acid, cinnamon and green tea extract, a phytonutrient complex (beet, raspberry, turmeric, citrus bioflavonoids, blueberry, strawberry, cranberry, bilberry, elderberry), a plant enzyme blend, guar gum, xanthan gum, a nine-strain probiotic blend and salt. Chocolate adds cocoa.
Made in a facility that also processes milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame. 1st Phorm says it's gluten free, vegan, non-GMO and dairy free. Earlier Natural Berry bags list 0 mg of sodium and rice bran in place of chicory root fiber; the rest of the panel is the same.
How to use it
- Add 2 scoops to 8 oz of cold water or juice and mix well.
- Drink it right after mixing. 1st Phorm suggests 1 or more servings a day, at any time that suits you. A cold drink keeps it from clumping.
