Isoflex is Allmax's whey protein isolate, built to support lean muscle and recovery. Every flavor gives you 27 g of protein and 120 calories per scoop, with 2 to 3 g of carbs and 0 g of added sugar, from a blend of cross-flow, ultra-filtered and ion-charged filtered whey isolates. The 2 lb tub holds 30 servings (29 in Cookies and Cream), so it's an easy way to try a flavor before stepping up to the 5 lb tub.

Isoflex is part of Verified for Sport, Allmax's own program that screens lots for banned substances against the WADA prohibited list. We carry it in Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Cookies and Cream, plus the last tubs of a few discontinued flavors.

Other ingredients: Whey protein isolate blend (cross-flow, ultra-filtered, ion-charged particle-filtered and alpha-lactalbumin-rich isolates), natural and artificial flavors, guar gum, sunflower lecithin, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, plus flavor ingredients: cocoa, peanut flour, strawberry powder with coconut water powder and beet root color, or gluten-free cookie crumbs, depending on the flavor

Every flavor contains milk. Chocolate Peanut Butter also contains peanuts, Cookies and Cream contains soy (from the lecithin in its gluten-free cookie crumbs), and Strawberry contains coconut water powder. The discontinued flavors still on our shelves (Banana, Birthday Cake, Blueberry Muffin, Caramel Macchiato, Orange Dreamsicle and Pineapple Coconut) also have 27 g of protein and 120 calories a scoop; Birthday Cake is a 32 g scoop with 28 servings and lists sugar.

How to use it

  1. Mix 1 scoop with about 5 to 8 oz of cold water or low-fat milk.
  2. Allmax suggests it after training, between meals or first thing in the morning.

For adults only. The label says to talk to a health care practitioner before use if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, to take it a few hours apart from other medications, and to use it as a food supplement, not for weight reduction. Allmax's published label images for Vanilla and the discontinued flavors print a peanut allergen statement, so check the allergen line on your tub if you avoid peanuts. Every tub carries a California Prop 65 warning for lead.
